The United States government has expanded a list that targets Kenyan citizens living in America without legal papers.
The number has risen from fifteen names to twenty eight in about two months. The move comes during a renewed immigration push under President Donald Trump.
Officials say the focus is on people with criminal records.
The list is managed by the Department of Homeland Security and tracks undocumented immigrants who have been arrested and convicted.
It was created in December to bring clarity to immigration enforcement.
Authorities say it helps agencies share information across all fifty states. The platform has drawn attention because of its blunt language.
Security agencies use the phrase worst of the worst to describe undocumented migrants convicted of major crimes.
Those added to the list include Kenyans found guilty of drug trafficking and armed robbery.
Others were convicted of homicide assault and crimes involving children. Officials say these offences pose a public risk.
More cases listed include aggravated assault with a weapon and threats linked to terror claims. Some individuals were charged with money laundering and cheque forgery.
There are also cases of fraud kidnapping a minor and violating court orders.
Driving under the influence and domestic violence appear in records.Homeland Security says the update comes as the United States prepares to host the World Cup later this year.
Officials believe the event will draw visitors. They say stronger enforcement helps protect public safety during gatherings.
The agency insists the list is not meant to target any nationality.
In a statement released on January twenty the department said over six hundred and seventy thousand illegal aliens have been removed. The figure includes people convicted of murder rape and gang activity.
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin praised law enforcement for a record year. She said officers were given authority to act.
The government has also introduced a self deportation program to speed up removals. Undocumented migrants can register through a Customs and Border Protection mobile app. Those who volunteer are promised free flights home.
They also receive a cash payout from the government.
Earlier this week officials announced the payout had been increased. The amount rose from one hundred and twenty nine thousand shillings to three hundred and thirty six thousand. Only those who complete the process through the app qualify.
Authorities say the incentive saves taxpayer money and reduces court pressure.
