Hon. Seth Steve Okute, fondly known as Aboge Wuon Dollar, continues to stand firm as a champion for education as the great equalizer in our society.
Over the years, he has consistently supported many students—both in basic education and in tertiary institutions—believing that education opens doors of opportunity and transforms lives.
Today, as our Junior Secondary School students sit for their national exams, now on their second day, Hon. Okute extends his heartfelt best wishes to all candidates.
He also recognizes and appreciates the dedicated teachers who have walked with these learners every step of the way, as well as the supportive parents who have sacrificed and encouraged their children tirelessly.
In the same spirit, Hon. Okute also sends early messages of success and congratulations to the candidates preparing to sit for their KCSE exams beginning next week.
To his sons and daughters across the country—and especially to the brilliant young minds of Karachuonyo Constituency—he says:
“Akwayo hawi maber ne nyithi Karachuonyo duto ma koro timo penj, kendo madhi chako penj juma mabiro. Mad hap Nyasaye bed kodu.”(“I wish great success to all Karachuonyo students sitting their exams now and those starting next week. May God’s blessings be with you.”)
