“Vijana hawakukufa ndio Raila apate kazi” Natembeya breaks silence after Raila-Ruto deal

According to reports by Tuko, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has questioned whether the recent political deal between President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga will help ordinary Kenyans.

He said Raila has joined hands with almost every government in the past, but nothing has changed for the people. Natembeya pointed out that Raila worked with former Presidents Moi, Kibaki, and Uhuru, and now he is working with Ruto.

He wondered why politicians keep making coalitions after elections instead of standing by what they promised voters. He said Kenyans vote with hope, but their leaders later unite for their own benefit, leaving citizens to struggle with the same problems.

According to Tuko, Natembeya said that young people are still suffering despite all these political agreements. He said unemployment remains high, and the cost of living continues to rise while leaders focus on making deals.

He added that many youths have sacrificed a lot for a better country, but their efforts have been ignored. Instead of improving things for the people, politicians use these alliances to secure positions for themselves and their allies.

He also questioned whether the discussions between Ruto and Raila will change anything. From what has happened before, he said, such political deals only benefit a few at the top while the majority continue to suffer.

He pointed out that food prices are high, healthcare is struggling, and job opportunities are scarce, yet leaders are more focused on their political interests.

Natembeya’s comments come at a time when talk of a Ruto-Raila partnership is growing. Some leaders have welcomed the idea, saying it will unite the country, but others, like Natembeya, believe it is another deal that will not help ordinary citizens.

He said unless leaders commit to real change, these coalitions will continue to be meaningless to the people. Many Kenyans are watching to see what happens next, but there is growing frustration that politicians always put their interests first.

Natembeya’s concerns reflect what many people feelnthat politics in Kenya is more about power struggles than solving real problems.
