Mulamwah reunites with his son after crying for hours non stop as revealed by baby Mama Ruth K

Kenyan comedian David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, has brought relief to fans by sharing joyful moments with his young son after a distressing week where the toddler cried incessantly.

The drama unfolded when Mulamwah’s ex-partner and baby mama, content creator Ruth K, took to social media on January 2 to express her heartbreak over their son, Oyando Junior (affectionately called Calvin or Kalamwah).

Ruth revealed that the boy had been crying non-stop for nearly eight days, refusing to eat or sleep, despite multiple visits to top hospitals in Nairobi where doctors found no medical issues.

“This has been the toughest season of life,” Ruth posted emotionally. “My 2025 ended with sadness and 2026 began with the same mood… As a parent, this has really broken my heart.”

Netizens flooded her comments with sympathy and advice, with many suggesting she reach out to Mulamwah, given their past co-parenting challenges following a bitter split in 2025.

Hours later, on January 3, Mulamwah posted updates showing him spending quality “boys’ day” time with his son in Kitale, where the child appeared happy, smiling, and calm.

He captioned one post: “God is great, the boy is home… Calvo is fine, alikua amenimiss tu [he just missed me]. Lifundo sasa tu ilikua missment [it was just missing dad].”

The quick turnaround sparked widespread reactions online. Some fans speculated about cultural beliefs, joking that the Luhya traditions tied to Mulamwah’s heritage played a role, with comments like “Mtoto wa Mluhya needs his dad’s side” or references to ancestral remedies. Others praised the comedian for stepping up as a father, noting: “You might not be a good husband, but definitely you are a good Dad.”

Ruth later shared photos of the father-son duo, captioning one “The Heir,” leaving fans confused about whether the ex-couple has reconciled or if it’s simply improved co-parenting.

The pair, who welcomed Oyando Junior in 2024, had a public fallout in 2025 involving leaked content and accusations, but recent events highlight a focus on their child’s well-being.
