MP Sylvanus Osoro delivers brand new police vehicle to Tabaka police station

MP Sylvanus Osoro on Thursday, April 16, joined Kisii Police Commander during the security engagement at Tabaka where a brand new police vehicle was officially delivered to Tabaka Police Station.

The move is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security operations and improve service delivery within the region, with leaders emphasizing the importance of equipping police officers with modern tools to enhance efficiency.

Osoro also announced plans to construct a new police station in Itumbe area and to expand the road towards Tabaka Boys, a move that will necessitate the relocation of the current police structure.

He said the initiatives are aimed at improving safety and accessibility while supporting long-term infrastructure development in the area.

He further assured residents that security remains a top priority and urged cooperation between the public and law enforcement agencies.

Local leaders present welcomed the developments, noting that improved policing infrastructure will enhance response time and community safety.

The project is expected to complement ongoing government efforts to modernize security services and strengthen law and order in Kisii County.

Osoro reiterated that his administration will continue prioritizing security investments across Kisii County through collaboration with national security agencies and local leaders.

He added that the delivery of the police vehicle marks only the beginning of reforms aimed at improving policing efficiency, infrastructure development, and community safety in the region.

We remain committed to ensuring that every police station is adequately equipped and accessible to the public,” he stated, calling for continued cooperation between residents and security officers to sustain peace and development.

The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots policing and improve public trust in law enforcement across Kisii County.
