Kiharu MP demands answers from top CSs over painful fuel hike

Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has openly challenged President Ruto’s government over the recent sharp increase in fuel prices, calling out top officials and demanding answers.

According to available news sources, Nyoro did not hold back as he blamed three Cabinet Secretaries for the sudden spike in fuel costs that affected Kenyans last week.

He pointed directly at Finance CS John Mbadi, Transport CS Davis Chirchir, and Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi, saying they must take responsibility for the situation and explain how such a rise was allowed to happen.

His criticism comes at a time when many Kenyans are feeling the weight of the rising cost of living, with fuel prices playing a big role in increasing the cost of transport, food, and other basic needs. Nyoro’s strong message to the government shows that he is not afraid to speak out, even against leaders within the same administration.

He believes the government cannot continue to stay silent while ordinary citizens suffer under the pressure of high fuel prices.

Nyoro is not just asking for an explanation. He wants a full and clear statement from the government detailing why fuel prices went up so suddenly and what steps are being taken to fix the situation.

He is pushing for more than just words he expects a clear plan of action that will help reduce the burden on Kenyans.

This includes measures that will prevent such hikes in the future and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.

His bold stance puts more pressure on the Ruto administration, which is already facing growing public frustration over economic struggles.

Kenyans are looking for leadership that listens and responds to their pain, and Nyoro is now seen by some as voicing the concerns many are too afraid to raise.

His move may also increase political tension within the ruling side, as it shows that not all leaders are satisfied with the way things are being handled.

With Nyoro now openly defying key figures in the government, all eyes are on how the administration will respond. Will they ignore his challenge, or will they give the public the clarity and solutions they are waiting for?
