Another Medic, Woman Found Dead In A Suspected Murder And Suicide

A medic from Kisii Training and Referral Hospital and his partner were discovered dead in a residence in Nyamataro, Kisii County.

The man is suspected of killing the woman before committing suicide in the residence.

According to authorities, the bodies were discovered when the man and lady were clutching each other on the bed.

According to acquaintances and relatives, the woman was in Kisii for a short trip after spending time in the United States with her family.

The remains were located in an apartment that had been locked from the inside.

The remains were discovered on Friday, November 29, and the woman’s body was rotting, indicating that she died earlier.

According to police, the individual was somewhat fresh.

Used syringes were discovered beside the bed in the house, indicating that they may have died as a result of a lethal poison injection.

The male was identified as Vincent, a medic at KTRH, and the woman as Moraa, 29, who has been staying in the United States.

The incident’s motivation has yet to be revealed.

Police said they’ve called pathologists to come and take over the site to help determine how they died.

“The pathologists will determine how the two died. The body of the woman looked a bit decomposed while that of the man was fresh,” said a police officer who visited the scene.

Past reports indicated that the guy and lady had past domestic disputes over money.

The bodies are currently in the local mortuary awaiting autopsy.

Murder and suicide are two of the primary causes of death in the country.

According to police, the suicide rate is disturbing and increasing, with up to two cases reported every day.

There are approximately eight murder cases reported each day.

According to the World Health Organization, such occurrences are caused by unemployment, mortality, scholastic failure or pressures, as well as legal and financial challenges.

Other reasons include bullying, previous suicide attempts, family history of suicide, alcoholism and substance abuse, despair, and bipolar disease.
