“Tunaomba Msamaha” Marion Naipei defends Geoffrey Mosiria after online attacks

The debate surrounding the viral video involving Marion Naipei is far from over and this time, attention has shifted to former chief environment officer turned into activist Geoffrey Mosiria, who has been facing heavy backlash online for supporting her.

Social media has been buzzing after Mosiria publicly stood with Marion following the circulation of a controversial video showing her under the influence of alcohol during a date with James Opande.

While many Kenyans praised him for stepping in, a section of the internet turned against him, accusing him of ignoring the so called boy child in the situation.

However, Marion Naipei has now come out to defend Mosiria, asking Kenyans to stop attacking him. According to her, Mosiria acted within the law and did not pick sides as many people claim.

In a heartfelt explanation, Mosiria revealed that he also reached out to James Opande, advising him to pull down the video before it spread further. He claimed that he offered support to James privately, something he says many critics are unaware of.

At one point, Mosiria appeared emotional as he addressed the criticism, admitting that the insults had affected him deeply. Despite this, he maintained that he remains strong and has chosen to forgive everyone who attacked him online.

“I stood with him more than people know,” Mosiria stated, insisting that his intention was never to fuel gender wars but to prevent further harm to all parties involved.Kenyans, as expected, had mixed reactions.

“Men for men hit like,” one user commented.“Mosiria for Women Rep 2027,” another social media user joked.

Others questioned why support for men often seems absent in such situations, while some defended Mosiria, saying he did what was right under the circumstances.
