Whistleblower in JKIA-Adani scandal alleges political divide, claims Kikuyu alienation tactics

Nelson Amenya, a well-known political analyst, has come forward to warn the public about an emerging narrative that seeks to alienate the Kikuyu community in Kenya.

His comments come amid ongoing controversy surrounding the JKIA-Adani scandal, where political and economic forces are believed to be at play.

Amenya believes that the manipulation of political rhetoric, particularly the idea that “other tribes can also lead” while portraying the Kikuyu community as “entitled,” is part of a larger strategy designed to sow discord and division among the country’s ethnic groups.

Amenya, who has closely observed the dynamics of Kenya’s political divide, cautions that this narrative is not merely about promoting a fair distribution of leadership opportunities.

Instead, it is a deliberate attempt to undermine the Kikuyu community, which has historically played a central role in Kenya’s political leadership.

The analyst warns that the growing discourse around the Kikuyus’ perceived dominance is being weaponized to weaken their position and create a sense of alienation.

While Amenya acknowledges that other tribes in Kenya have the potential to lead, he believes that the rhetoric surrounding Kikuyu leadership is being manipulated to paint them as overly privileged or unfairly powerful.

He describes it as a “chess game” where politicians strategically use divisive language to manipulate public opinion.

This, he argues, is not only harmful to the Kikuyu community but also dangerous for the unity of the nation as a whole.

Whistleblower Nelson Amenya celebrated as a hero for exposing the secret Adani deal for Kenya’s airport in his statement, Amenya stresses that the real issue lies in the manipulation of political discourse for the sake of power.

“As much as I also think other tribes can certainly lead, this particular narrative is only being used to divide and rule,” he says.

His words carry weight, as they offer a perspective on the political schemes at play in Kenya, where ethnic divisions have often been exploited for political gain.
