The Rot inside NCBA Bank exposed as workers face threats and unpaid wages

NCBA is once again in the spotlight, and this time, it is not about its questionable banking practices but rather the shocking mistreatment of its employees.

Cyprian Nyakundi has exposed a disturbing case of worker exploitation at Loop NCBA, where employees are facing harsh conditions despite promises made in their contracts.

The anonymous whistleblower who reached out to Nyakundi has painted a grim picture of life inside the bank, revealing a system designed to frustrate and exploit workers while the management continues to thrive at their expense.

According to the message sent to Nyakundi, Loop NCBA employees were promised a basic salary of Ksh 10,000 plus commissions. However, for the past three months, employees have only been receiving the Ksh 10,000, with the commissions mysteriously disappearing.

To make matters worse, even this peanut salary is not paid on time. Instead of receiving it at the end of the month, employees are forced to wait until the 15th of the following month, making it almost impossible for them to meet their financial obligations.

Many are already being kicked out of their homes because they cannot afford to pay rent. This blatant disregard for employees’ welfare is further compounded by the bank’s response whenever concerns are raised.

Instead of addressing the issue, management threatens those who dare to speak up. This is a clear indication that NCBA does not value its employees and is more interested in maximizing profits while workers suffer.

If this is how the bank treats its own staff, one can only imagine the level of disregard it has for its customers. Nyakundi’s exposé is not the first time NCBA has been accused of unethical practices.

Over the years, the bank has been linked to various financial scandals and questionable dealings, yet it continues to operate without any accountability.

The situation at Loop NCBA is just another example of how the bank operates with impunity, knowing that no one will hold it responsible.

The fact that employees are being forced to endure such conditions without any form of redress is a clear sign of a broken system that favors corporate greed over human dignity.

The government and relevant authorities must step in and investigate these allegations. If NCBA is indeed withholding commissions from employees, delaying salaries, and threatening those who speak out, then it must be held accountable.

No company, no matter how big, should be allowed to exploit workers without consequences. The banking sector is already riddled with enough scandals, and allowing such practices to continue will only worsen the situation.

It is now up to the public and labor organizations to amplify this issue and demand justice for Loop NCBA employees. If nothing is done, this mistreatment will continue, and more workers will find themselves trapped in a cycle of financial struggles and threats from a powerful institution.
