But so far so good, I feel fine at the moment and I thank God. I am trusting him to get me through this be safe because we can all get it and you just don’t know how you’ll get it and where you’ll get it from in regards to work. I’ll be off air and work for the next few weeks as I isolate and take care of me,” she posted.

Tracey revealed she would also share her progress with her fans as she continues with self-isolation.

“But I will be updating my progress and this experience on my YouTube channel by doing a weekly vlog on how the week has been, what symptoms I’m experiencing, what am doing/taking to keep the symptoms at bay and how am fairing. Anyone that has been in contact with me has been informed as well. May God see us as a nation & see the world through this pandemic,” she added.

The tv presenter further asked each Kenyan to go for testing if they notice changes on their bodies.

“Please if your body is feeling funny just go for testing. If I handled it you sure will as well. Don’t be afraid you might be asymptomatic like me at first yet you have already contracted the COVID-19 virus and end up putting those that you love at risk.

“Please heed to the government regulations & be smart my people. COVID-19 is real but the good thing is that we can overcome it- we can recover and we can get better,” Tracey adviced.

Cases of journalists and presenters testing positive for COVID-19 have been on the rise in recent weeks, with many fearing how exposed they are to the virus in their line of work, just like healthcare workers.

NTV’s Jamdown co-host Miss Katiwa on July 26 tested positive to COVID-19. The TV star who is also a radio presenter at Homeboyz Radio revealed she was tested even though she initially did not show any symptoms.

“My beautiful people, I got tested for COVID-19 and my results came, I’m positive for COVID-19. I have been in isolation and I am doing great, I didn’t show signs at first but later on they started appearing, my family is well informed about it and am sure am going to come out strong,” she tweeted.
