According to reports by AFP, as reported by Citizen Digital, Manchester United’s head coach Ruben Amorim has firmly put an end to speculation about Bruno Fernandes’ future, stating that the midfielder will not be leaving the club this summer. Fernandes, the club’s captain, has been central to United’s success this season, continuing his fine form after extending his contract until 2027 last August.
Despite reports linking him to a move to Real Madrid over the weekend, Amorim was clear in his response when asked about the rumours during a press conference before their upcoming Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.
Amorim, who previously managed Sporting CP, expressed certainty when he said, “No, it’s not going to happen.” He further added, “He’s not going anywhere because I’ve already told him.” His direct and confident message to the media underscored the coach’s stance.
