Citizen TV anchor Lilian Muli has of late been thrusting her fans into deep thought concerning her online posts, mostly discussing relationships.
As seen on her latest post, the mother of two went ahead to share an important piece of advice that will bode well for single people.
On her post the the news anchor goes on to quote Susan Nguttu, a relationship coach who talks about the importance of thinking through before deciding to settle down.
“I came across this on and I thought it was very powerful.” her post began.
“Dear Singles, some people are good wedding material but are terrible marriage material. Some people are nice until they have finished with you. Some are good caring and available as long as they can use you for themselves. Some are ready for a glamourous wedding but unprepared for a blissful marriage.” she concluded.
According to the two ladies some men are meant to be great fathers but not all can make good husbands. Many women tend to confuse the two and end up regretting this lifetime decision.
“Some men are biologically ready to be a father but not mentally or spiritually ready to be a husband. Yet some ladies are biologically ready to be a mother but not mentally or spiritually ready to be a wife. They work harder on the wedding plans than they do on the marriage plan.” she went on.
To summarise, Lilian made it known that there is no need of promoting a man to a husband when he is not ready for such responsibilities!
“A wedding is for one day. Marriage is for a lifetime. Never you forget this. If you promote a lady who is not ready to be a wife then you have to struggle to make her who she is not. If you promote a man who is not ready to be a husband then you have to struggle to make him who he is not.” she concluded.
Responding to a fan’s revelation a while back, Lillian disclosed that her to had cohabited with a baby daddy because of her child.
“This one is very complicated because a child is involved. I have done it, too, and it is not easy,” she revealed.
Lillian also admitted to having wasted six years loving the wrong person. “Lol. You and me both, honey! Mine, six wasted years. You will love again,” she added.
The post comes a week after she went out of her way to complain about a stalker who has been bullying her online with intimate photos of her car.
Speaking to The Star on Wednesday July 15, Lilian revealed the stalker was female and intends to malign her name and character.
Lilian said the person does that every time she sees her somewhere. “They either hide and take discreet videos and photos of me but lately in two incidents they have taken videos of my car,” she said.
“Possibly to hurt me I don’t know, but someone can’t make it their business every time they find me somewhere.
“It is creepy and unacceptable. If anything were to happen to me, this would be the first suspect.”
