President Ruto quickly responds after Gachagua attacked him during his presser with Mulembe media

Politics in Kenya is becoming more tense as President William Ruto and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua continue to drift apart.

Their latest exchange shows that the rivalry between them is getting worse. Speaking to Mulembe TV, Gachagua urged different communities and leaders to come together and create their own political plans.

He said they should do this without being influenced by either President Ruto or opposition leader Raila Odinga. This means he wants people to take charge of their own politics instead of following national leaders blindly.

His message suggests that he is trying to push for regional or tribal-based political movements where different groups can have more control over their future.

However, President Ruto did not take this lightly. While on a tour in North Eastern Kenya, he responded to Gachagua’s remarks and criticized him for focusing on tribal politics instead of national development.

According to Kenyans.co.ke, Ruto told Gachagua, “You have no plan for this country,” showing that he believes Gachagua is only looking out for his own interests.

Ruto’s reaction shows that he sees Gachagua’s ideas as a threat to national unity. This exchange is another sign that the political relationship between the two leaders is broken beyond repair.

Since Gachagua was removed from office, he has been trying to rebuild his influence, especially in the Mount Kenya region.

He has been telling people in his community to stick together and push for leadership that favors them. This could be his way of preparing for the next elections, where he might try to challenge Ruto’s authority.

The problem with Gachagua’s approach is that it brings back tribal politics, something that has always been a big issue in Kenya.

While he says he wants communities to have more power, this could also lead to more division in the country.

On the other hand, Ruto is trying to show that he is the leader of all Kenyans and that he does not want politics to be about tribes.

However, some people feel that his government has also favored certain regions, making his message less convincing. As things stand, it is clear that the battle between Ruto and Gachagua is far from over.

Their political fight will likely shape the country’s leadership in the coming years. Kenyans will be watching closely to see if this rivalry leads to real change or if it is just another case of politicians looking out for themselves.
