NRG radio presenter Shaq the Yungin on Wednesday July 15 came clean on his fallout with his former best friend, singer Tanasha Donna.
In an Instagram live interview with Shaffie Weru, Shaq explained that their friendship ended following a few misunderstandings.
Shaq and Tanasha Donna have not been in good terms for a few months now; but they chose to keep this on the low and Shaq the Yungin confirmed that all is not well in their camp.
Well what used to be a good friendship has since turned bitter and Shaq the Yungin is no longer in speaking terms with his best friend. The two parted ways after having what he referred to as a ‘fall out’ and since they have not seen eye to eye.
Previously Shaq and the NRG crew used to be very close with Ms Donna based on the fact that they worked together at the radio station.
“Me and Tanasha we haven’t spoken in a long time; hope she is doing good. People have fall-outs, sometime they are irreconcilable, but by the way this is the first time I’m talking about me and Tanasha, so no love lost, we are just not close with each other.” he began.
When asked what really happened during the hour-long interview, Shaq the Yungin did not disclose much about their ongoing fallout; but all he mentioned is that they would sort things out eventually. He went on to tell Shaffie;
“Sometimes you just have to separate to elevate, you lose some you win some but as long as you are all living good, I wish the best for anybody I left in the past… but I don’t wanna get into what happened but shit happens bro… what happened between me and Tanasha, that’s between me and Tanasha, I met her day one when she came back to Kenya, we have been together for years, we have had fall-outs before and over the years we learn each other, and we keep it personal… people tried to speculate but iliwashinda coz hiyo ni beef yangu na yeye because I don’t need to publicize anything,” he explained.
He also added that he is no longer in touch with Ms Donna’s manager Castro.
He used to manage the trio – Tanasha, Shaq and Barack – but they all went their separate ways, with Diamond Platinumz’s former love interest now being managed by Jamal Gadaffi.
“Castro, Tanasha’s manager, is the cause of everything and he was my bro, he was managing all of us. But one thing I have learned is, do not mix friendship and business, that’s what ruins things,” said Shaq the Yungin.
Controversial blogger Edgar Obare had tried to hint on this story but failed to gather evidence.
“Shout out to Edgar we are always talking even before he posts something about me. But here is the thing Shaffie, people are always watching us because it is the life we chose. Even when I go to the shop people know me.” he added.
Tanasha Donna celebrated her 25th birthday on July 7 but shamed a woman who gate crashed her birthday party threatening to expose her.
Taking to her Instagram account, the mother of one shamed the woman who took to her small event at a hotel in Diani and recorded everything.
“Moral of the story is to mind your own business. Pinnochio poking their nose in everyone’s business. You do not show up to people’s private get together, expecting a lavish birthday party uninvited to stalk people and film them having a good time on their day,” wrote Tanasha.
Shaq The Yungin also announced his new vape business during his interview with Shaffie Weru.
