NCBA Bank has opened a new branch in Kakamega County as it expands its network in the country.

The branch becomes the sixth branch opening in a plan by the lender to open 15 new branches this year.

Currently, the lender now has 76 branches in the whole country.

NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora said the lender is positioned to support Industrialization among  President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Big 4 Agenda.

He added that  Kakamega Branch is part of the Bank’s expansion plan to get closer to customers across the country with tailor-made solutions to financial challenges they face.

I urge Kakamega residents to take advantage of the Bank’s Presence to save, get finances and invest to change their lives.

Gachora said.

Further, Gachora says they were attracted by the Investments in Kakamega County and a conducive business environment.

On his part, Kakamega  County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya challenged  NCBA  to develop specific products for small-scale farmers in the county to enable the sector to grow.

Governor Oparanya said he is keen to see full implementation of the Big 4 agenda, especially industrialization saying he wishes that the lender would enable the achievement as more than 85 percent of county residents depend on Agriculture.

Additionally, Oparanya affirmed that youths will get employment through the move.

As well as encouraged other private players to join in supporting the government’s Big 4 Agenda.
