According to Luanda Constituency elders, ANC party leader, Musalia Mudavadi’s advisers are digging his political grave by misleading him.
They said that Mudavadi is likely to undergo a serious political attack if he continues intimidating the junior leaders in the party.
The elders, led by Livistone Omwakwe told Mudavadi that he should know that everyone is important to his presidential bid.
This came following Cleophas Malala, Kakamega Senator was expelled from ANC party. Malala was expelled because his actions in 2019, during Kibra by-election were against the party.
Senator Malala supported Imran Okoth, a candidate from ODM who managed to beat Eliud Omwalo, the ANC candidate.
The party also expelled MP Geoffrey Osotsi for misusing party funds and going against the party guidelines.
However, the elders dismissed the claims against Osotsi on Friday.
According to them, the MP could not withdraw party funds without the treasurer’s and the chairperson’s approval. The two must sign for the money to be released from the accounts.
“We are appealing to Musalia to do proper investigations to that bank that transacted or allowed the withdrawal of funds without treasurer and the chairman’s signatures because that has never happened before,” Omwakwe said.
Omwakwe said that at this point, the ANC leader, Musalia Mudavadi should work closely with the party leaders and members in preparation for the 2022 General Election.
“Good fathers do not chase kids out of the house when they have wronged, he only engages them with advice on the way forward,”
The leaders asked Mudavadi to reconsider his actions and cancel the expulsions of both Senator Malala and MP Osotsi to strengthen the party.
Malala said that expelling him from the ANC party will not threaten or intimidate him.
“I’m like a son to you and you don’t have to beat, punch, and kick me out. By the grace of God, I have risen from a one-term MCA, county assembly speaker, senator to Senate Deputy Minority leader. Why would you want to take away all these gains that I have worked so hard for in a day?” the senator asked Musalia Mudavadi.
