Maverick Aoko has sparked a lot of drama online by making some serious claims about Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano and her Principal Secretary, Sylvia.
Aoko says that Miano blocked her on X after she called the CS out for being a lesbian and not doing enough to promote local tourism in Kenya.

Aoko, who jokingly ‘claims’ she’s an NIS agent, was upset about being blocked, asking why Miano would do that when they’re both working for the same government.
She even promised to share more details later, mentioning something about “Kericho Tea,” bookings at Novotel in Westlands.
It’s a messy situation, and Aoko doesn’t seem like she’s ready to let it go anytime soon.

In her original post on X, Aoko didn’t hold back at all. She accused Miano of letting local tourism die, saying the sector is in bad shape under her leadership. But things got really personal when Aoko claimed that Miano was caught in her office with her PS, Sylvia, in a very inappropriate situation.
Aoko described it in a lot of detail, saying Miano and Sylvia were so loud that someone thought it was an Al Shabaab attack. She even mimicked the sounds she claims were heard, making the whole story sound wild and shocking.

After that post went up, Miano blocked Aoko, which only made her more upset. Aoko then questioned why a Cabinet Secretary would block an “NIS agent”, hinting that Miano might be hiding something and that there’s more to the story.
Aoko kept going with her allegations, bringing up more things to make people question Miano. She asked why Miano and Sylvia had bookings at Novotel in Westlands and what “Frame 2” and “virtual PDA” meant, suggesting she has more proof maybe even a video.
She also told Miano to “focus” and said she might start talking about scandals tied to Kenya power.

Then she brought up Miano’s personal life, asking why Interior CS Kithure Kindiki stood in for Miano at her son’s wedding.
Aoko also questioned why Miano was brought back as Attorney General after June 25th, trying to make people wonder if Miano has secrets she doesn’t want anyone to know about.
These claims have gotten a lot of attention online, and people are now talking about whether there’s any truth to what Aoko is saying. This whole situation makes you think about what’s really going on in the Tourism Ministry.
If Aoko is telling the truth, it could mean there are big problems with Miano’s leadership, especially if she’s more focused on personal things than her job.
But if Aoko is just making this up, it’s a pretty bold move to throw such serious accusations at someone like Miano. Either way, this drama has put Miano in the spotlight, and a lot of people are watching to see what happens next.
Will Aoko share more of this “Kericho Tea” she’s talking about, or will Miano respond to clear her name? It’s hard to say, but for now, the online feud is keeping everyone on their toes.
