Harambee stars striker Michael Olunga has remained a sensation in the world of football both for his club and country.
The prolific former Gor Mahia striker made history today at his club Kashiwa Reysol in the Japanese League Division 2. Olunga scored eight goals in one match to help his club beat opponents Kyoto Sanga 13-1 in a league match. The goals were scored both in the first and second half.
Olunga has been in a consistently good form for both country and the club for the past few years. He is a leading scorer in the Japanese league. This has enabled his team be at the top of the division 2 league.
Move to England
There have been several calls to have Michael Olunga make a move to the English Priemer League (EPL) after his streak of good performances for both club and country. Local football fans believe Olunga is fit enough to play in the EPL, the world’s most competitive football league.
Olunga has sealed his place in the heart of football fans through his show of patriotism. He has taught his fans in Japan local Swahili song “Jambo Kenya” which they sing to his praise.
Will Olunga’s agent Jacob “Ghost” Mulei give in to the pressure and seek a move to the EPL or any other competitive league for his player?
