Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi has denied claims that he is planning to expose damaging information about President William Ruto’s administration.
On Friday, March 28, Muturi dismissed a viral social media post that alleged he was preparing to reveal government secrets. The post claimed that he was planning to expose wrongdoings by the current administration as a way of retaliating after being removed from office.
The alleged post, which spread quickly on social media, stated that he was now free and ready to reveal the evil deals Ruto had been involved in, including allegations of elimination and abduction of Kenyans.
Muturi has, however, come out strongly to distance himself from the claims. He called the allegations completely false and accused unknown individuals of spreading fake news to mislead the public.
He stated that a false quote was being circulated in his name and termed it pure fabrication by malicious actors trying to distort facts.
He urged Kenyans to avoid misinformation and only rely on information from his verified social media accounts. He further emphasized that people should remain vigilant against fake news and always depend on official communication channels for accurate information.
His denial comes just two days after President Ruto dismissed him from his cabinet position and replaced him with Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Ruku. The former CS had previously insisted that he remained committed to serving Kenyans and promoting accountability in government.
He had also denied reports that he had resigned, stating that he had always been focused on his work. His removal came after President Ruto accused him of failing to perform his duties effectively.

During an Iftar event at State House on March 25, Ruto criticized Muturi, blaming him for delaying important projects, including the establishment of the Waqf, a charitable fund for Muslims.
The president said there was no reason for the delay and called the former CS incompetent. He assured that with a new Attorney General, the issue would be resolved.
Muturi’s sudden exit from government has fueled speculation about internal conflicts within Ruto’s administration. While he has denied any plans to attack the government, his removal has raised questions about his relationship with the president.
The claims that he was planning to expose government secrets added to the uncertainty, although he has dismissed them as false.
The former CS maintains that he has no intention of engaging in political fights and urged Kenyans to focus on facts rather than rumors.
