President Uhuru Kenyatta stated

The statement from the President doesn’t come as a surprise considering his relationship with DP Ruto has changed for the worse.

President Kenyatta has since last year been working as a lone ranger without the help of his deputy.

Yesterday, the President while speaking at Statehouse where he hosted a delegation of political leaders from Ukambani, noted that he has been successful in his second term more than the first term because of not ‘politicking’.

I have delivered in my second term of office more than my first term. Working in conjunction with my colleagues, I have been able to focus on the development agenda not the political agenda.
