Citizen TV’s Linus Kaikai Mourns Death of His Brother

The Kenyan media and legal fraternity is mourning the untimely death of renowned journalist Linus Kaikai’s brother on Monday morning August 10.

The Citizen TV Strategy and Innovation Director has been known to keep his family life private and his media career open, but could not come to terms with the passing on of his brother, Maurice Kaikai.

Maurice Kaikai was described as a devout Catholic very active and humble despite his leadership positions. A good friend and a fine gentlemen who maintained close family ties outside the court rooms.

An outstanding attorney whose efficiency and cordiality impressed those whom interacted with him but a very patient and understanding boss to his employees.

“Farewell my brother Maurice. It will take us forever to believe you’re gone.” he announced via his Twitter handle.

Messages of comfort poured in from the political space, to fellow colleagues and the general public as they comforted the veteran journalist during these trying times.

“My condolences to you and your family . Interacted with him severally in court . He was efficient and cordial . It was a pleasure appearing before him . Rest In Peace Wakili” penned Makueni County senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr.

“It will be well my brother. He is now at peace in the bosom of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob.” wrote Donald B. Kipkorir.
