Former Manchester United forward Christiano Ronaldo has rejoined his former club today after an agreement between Manchester United and Juventus was reached.

Earlier, the decorated football player was rumored to be on the verge of joining Manchester United’s rivals Manchester City.

 However,  Manchester United placed a bid of unknown value to buy back their former star.

 The deal seemed to have gone smoothly in a matter of just a few hours.

Christiano Ronaldo, popularly referred to as CR7, played for Manchester United between 2003-2009,  making 196 appearances and scoring 84 goals. 

He left for Real Madrid in Spain, where he made 292 appearances and scored 311 goals before joining Juventus in 2018. The Portuguese international started his football career at Sporting CP.

Christiano Ronaldo has won 32 major trophies throughout his senior career. 

He holds the record for most goals scored in the UEFA Champions League.
